HUSKER DAY WINNER

Husker Day in the studio was a FUN DAY ! I even wore a Husker shirt...those who know me- know that I am a true Texas Longhorn Fan ! I am from Texas and have always been a Longhorn fan way back to when my 6th grade teacher Ms Roden's nephew Peter played for the Longhorns and he came & spent the day with us at school ! I know you all are just wait for me to shut up & let you know who is the winner....so I will get on with that ! First a real quick THANK YOU to all that came in ! I will have proofs up soon- so watch your emails in the next few days.
OK OK....winner is Tracy Goodman- who brought in her 3 cute & fun kiddos. Though MR Nolan didnt like to share the spotlight & do group shots...he liked it all to himself ! WOW ! Where did Summer GO ??

I feel horrible that I have neglected this blog ! But since I last posted my son Micheal graduated High school, then since the last day of school we have gone to Vegas to shoot a wedding out there, then Texas for 10 days, back home for a couple of weeks then went to Colorado camping for 3 weeks, then back home for a couple of weeks then to Valentine to go kayak down the Niobrara & to camp...now we have been home & summer is OVER ! I love all the patient clients I have had over the summer ! YOU GUYS ROCK !!
Now I am in FULL SWING Senior 2010 Season ! Or as I have seen it lately SEN{10}R ! I am excited for all the new Sr's I have met so far & hope to meet this year. I have some amazing fun reps & need a couple of GUY reps ! So anyone know any Sr guys...send them my way !

Behind, Updates AND MORE ...

I want to first thank all of my awesome clients for being SO PATIENT ! I am running a little behind on getting your sessions finished up. A week in Texas- that turned into a crazy week in Texas- did not help much. My intent was to get some work done while there. It did not happen, instead I was at my grandmothers ( My Nanny)bedside while in the cardiac unit. She is fine...thank goodness ! She had to have her stint redone- she had a heart attack in Dec & had a stint put in. Her artery was closing back over it & she had to have it redone. I was so thankful I could be there for her and my grandfather ( My PawPaw ). I leave for Oklahoma Thursday morning for a photography conference- I will return Sun eve. So NEXT WEEK - all of you that I owe proofs to - you will get them- along with a surprise ! Please call me with any questions or email.
Also- I am not sure if many people know this but my husband Luke has MS. He was diagnosed 2 years ago. They hold a MS walk in Grand Island every year. Last year we had several family members on our team & raised money in the fight for a cure for MS. Dusty & Stacy- E- Session

I had these two beautiful people in my studio today for their engagment session. Their wedding is in April- I will have the pleasure of capturing their special day. It should be a blast ! The whole time during this session all I could see is their amazing eyes- BOTH OF THEM ! Then my mind was wondering off to " awww what cute babies these two will make !" SORRY guys...I love babies !

This Weeks Sneak Peeks !

I had some serious cute little girlies in my studio Saturday ! First Miss A came back to do her Cake Pics. But she was so cute in her little outfit with those sweet little Air Jordans - I had to get a few of her in it before we dug into cake ! Then I had her try out the new tu-tu color & bow...you can tell she would have rather not tried it on ! HAHA ! I will give you a call next week mom with your cd. Thanks for coming back !

Then a sweet mommy who I knew when she was in High School came in. When I taught preschool at Head Start she was one of my favorite classroom volunteers ! And I saw her on Facebook ! YEA ! She brought her precious baby girl in for some fun pictures. What a doll she is- LOVE THOSE EYES ! She is a sweet little busy girl- smarties were our key to get her to sit ! Mom brought the cutest Love Bug Outfit for some Valentine Pictures. Mom I hope you enjoy your sneak peeks & it was so good to see you again !

Then I had this sweet little gorgeous red head with amazing blue eyes come to see me for her 2 year pictures. Mom brought very helpful Big Sister along- Thanks for all your help A ! Little Miss A was not so sure about being in the studio, so we had to get creative & yes smartie candy bribery ! I captured her sweet little smiles & fell in love with how sweet she looks sucking her thumb. Enjoy mom & thanks for coming in !

Last night I had a fun family with 4 super cute kiddos ! Oh the cuteness of the red hair & the freckles & the giggles...oh the giggles ! This is their first time in the studio & hope its not their last. They are all so fun ! Boys- B & B 7 & 4 then little Miss A & A 2 & 4 weeks. It took a little while until we could get them all in one shot...Baby A had to drink her bottle & was not happy until it was ALL GONE ! Then she was laid back & ready ! So precious ! Thanks mom & dad for coming in !
